MY GOOD ENEMY

Monday, September 6, 2010 at 6:00 PM.

Venue: CineStar Metropolis

The Danish competition entry MY GOOD ENEMY tackles bullying and harassment as an ever-present theme in society and as a part of everyday life at school. After Monday’s screening, Kirstin Koch, taskperson of the city of Frankfurt for the protection of minors, will report on her experiences with the phenomenon and make herself available for questions – in particular, questions from teachers and educators. Birgit Goehlnich of the FSK (the German movie industry’s rating and self-regulation system) will be present at the screening on Friday, September 10, 2010 to discuss the film with primary and secondary school students.

How are sounds added to film?

Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM

Venue: to be announced here shortly.

In the film production process, sounds such as a ringing phone or a raging storm are only added after the fact. The musician Thomas Mehlhorn, who composed the music for the LUCAS ad for movie theaters, will be at the LUCAS Workshop for children to explain just how this works.
