LUCAS School

Film Education

LUCAS School is a media pedagogic programme as part of the International Children’s Filmfestival LUCAS, which offers a number of educational ideas to promote media compentence and an understanding of film to students. The programme is mainly aimed at teachers, who would like to teach their children media in innovative ways. With the LUCAS School programme the festival aims to create a lasting collaboration with schools and other educational institutions. For this reason LUCAS established the short film edition, a selection of short films that have been part of the festival and educational material that goes with the films, which offers an easy and entertaining way to integrate practical excerises for media compentence in class.
